1 pinch Fresh Mint Leaves
2oz Cucumber Water (recipe follows)
2 dashes Ms. Better Bitters Grapefruit Bitters
optional: 2oz Cucumber infused Gin using Odd Society Wallflower Gin (recipe follows)
6oz Callister Craft Soda Hibiscus Lemonade
Add ice, mint, cucumber water, bitters, and gin (if using), to a shaker tin (tip: make sure to slap your mint for better mint oil extraction), and shake vigorously. Pour into a glass filled with ice and top with Callister Hibiscus Lemonade! Garnish with another big beautiful mint stem and a sliced cucumber to keep your aromas alive.
Recipe for Cucumber Water
Peel 1 full cucumber and leave peels aside to infuse into gin. Rough dice the peeled cucumber and add to a blender with 500ml water. Blend until homogenous. Strain with coffee filter and store in airtight container for up to 2 weeks.
Recipe for Cucumber-infused Gin
With remaining cucumber peels add directly to a bottle of Odd Society Wallflower Gin (or steep in a mason jar for smaller amounts). Within 1-2 days, you’ll notice the fragrant cucumber smell. The strength of the gin will allow the cucumber to stay infusing for as long as you’d like.
